Electric guitar speakers are designed to be loud, but many of them have a significant drawback: you can’t hear the mids and highs unless you’re directly in front of them, often sitting on the floor. This is due to the narrow dispersion in the mid and high frequencies of traditional guitar cabinets. Placing these cabinets on the floor, just a few feet behind the player, causes directional frequencies to hover around knee level. Moreover, horizontally aligned dual-driver cabinets further narrow the horizontal dispersion angle and introduce comb filtering in the highs, resulting in a phasey and messy sound.

The XF212 guitar speaker cabinet offers a smart solution to these issues without sacrificing the classic look. Designed to house two 12-inch speakers, the XF212 measures 27 inches wide, 13 inches deep, and 16 inches high, and weighs approximately 45-50 lbs depending on the driver. The cabinet angles the drivers inward at a 20-degree crossfire, minimizing driver spacing, reducing comb filtering, and significantly widening horizontal dispersion by up to 40 degrees compared to traditional flat baffle designs. Additionally, the XF212 features a rear tilt of 15 degrees, allowing musicians to clearly hear what they are playing, even at close range.
